Low Voltage Technician 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Titusville, FL 32796 System One is looking for a low-voltage electrician to work in the Brevard County area. This role will be working in the Brevard County schools; therefore, a clean background is a must.

Day Shift Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with installing and replacing conduit, pulling wire, and setting up raceways for low voltage systems. This role is crucial in ensuring proper installation and long-term functionality of structured cabling, security systems, AV, data, and other low voltage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, replace, and repair conduit (EMT, PVC, flexible, etc.) for low voltage systems. Pull, label, and terminate low voltage cabling according to project specifications. Install raceways and support systems for cables, ensuring compliance with electrical and building codes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Maintain clean and safe work areas while adhering to all safety procedures and regulations. Coordinate with other trades and project managers to ensure timely project completion. Use hand and power tools to assemble and secure pipe, conduit, and cabling infrastructure. Troubleshoot low voltage systems and infrastructure issues as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience in low voltage electrical work. Proficiency in bending and installing conduit (EMT, PVC, etc.). Ability to safely and efficiently pull cable and wire through raceways. Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) and local electrical codes. Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, often on ladders or lifts. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
