The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems in an industrial or commercial setting, especially as they relate to motors, starters, and control panels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
• Support the wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of motor control panels, VFDs, and starters
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documents
• Perform conduit bending, cable pulling, and wire termination under supervision
• Maintain tools, materials, and workspaces in a clean and organized manner
• Adhere to safety standards and company procedures at all times
• Participate in preventive maintenance tasks and inspections
• Report electrical issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of experience in electrical work; knowledge of motor control systems is required
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
• Basic understanding of electrical theory, including voltage, current, and resistance
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in electrical installation and maintenance
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions
• OSHA 10 or other safety certifications are a plus
