Job Overview:

As a Student Helper, you will be an independent contractor providing a wide range of services, from household chores and yard work to event help and babysitting. This role is ideal for college students looking to earn extra income while maintaining a flexible schedule. You will have the freedom to choose the jobs that fit your skills and availability.

Responsibilities:

Perform various odd jobs and tasks as requested by clients, including but not limited to: Household chores (cleaning, organizing, moving or assembling furniture) Yard work (weeding, raking leaves, gardening) Tutoring (subject-specific help, exam preparation, homework assistance) Tech help (Social media literacy, device setup, general troubleshooting) Event assistance (bartending, setup, teardown, serving) Pet care (dog walking, pet sitting) Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction. Manage your schedule and job requests through the Student Helpers platform, emails, and text messages. Maintain professionalism and reliability in all interactions and tasks. Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements:

Current enrollment in a college or university. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Reliable transportation (for jobs requiring travel). Physical capability to perform manual labor tasks (if applicable). Prior experience in any of the services offered is a plus but not required.
