Job Description:

The Scaffold Helper is responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures. This role requires the physical ability to climb scaffolds, ladders, and stairs on a repetitive basis, and a working knowledge of both system scaffolding and tube-and-clamp scaffold components.

Key Responsibilities:

Climb scaffold structures, ladders, and stairs regularly as part of daily duties Assist in erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding towers, hangers, and cantilevers Tie appropriate knots related to hoisting and rigging (e.g., bowline, timber hitch, clove hitch) Receive and return materials to and from scaffold yard or client sites Install safety components such as toe boards, guardrails, and ladders Perform general labor duties related to the scaffold trade Conduct and understand quality control checks and scaffold inspections Understand and use scaffold hand signals and proper material handling techniques

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experience in the scaffold trade Ability to communicate in more than one language is preferred (bilingual) LI_TSC About our
