GENERAL FUNCTION

THIS

IS A PART-TIME POSITION

Under the general supervision of the Director of the Company’s Apprenticeship Program, the applicant must demonstrate mastery of current technical application skills as an experienced Electrician.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Instruction:

Delivering both theoretical and practical training in electrical principles, ensuring alignment with NCCER standards.

Curriculum Development:

Creating and updating course materials to reflect current industry practices and compliance requirements.

Assessment:

Evaluating student progress through assignments, practical tests, and hands-on demonstrations.

Compliance:

Ensuring all training activities adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Student Support:

Providing mentorship and guidance to students pursuing careers in the electrical field. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Confidentiality is extremely imperative.

Must be able to teach:

NCCER – Core, Electrical Levels 1 – 4 Electrical Safety and the National Electrical Code Electrical Residential, Commercial, Light industrial, and/or industrial PLC and Energy management systems a plus Inventory management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experience:

A minimum of five years in the electrical trade, with hands-on experience in various electrical systems.

Certification:

Active NCCER certification as an instructor, or the willingness to obtain it upon hiring.

Education:

Relevant technical certifications or a degree in electrical technology is preferred.

Skills:

Strong communication and organizational abilities, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Bilingual English Spanish a plus but not required
