Electrical Job Purpose :

The overall objective of the job is to assist in theperformance of the assigned work.

Specific objectives are to:

1. Perform material handling and housekeeping functions 2. Work with other people and assure safety for self andcoworkers 3. Read and understand documents (quality, checklist, procedures,ect.)

Job Functions :

. Safely and effectively do the following : 1. Pulling conduit lines 2. Installing transformers, panels, switch gears, andcontactors 3. Use Tape measure 4. Non power tools such as screw drivers and pliers 5. Use hand drill for installation purposes 6. Knowledge of ratchet or hydraulic crimping tools

Job Duties :

Duties performed without direct supervision includethe following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Review drawings with leadman 2. Review drawings and refer any problem requiring changes toleadman 3. Be familiar with stock on hand and keep purchasing advised onshortages of supplies to minimize work slow down / stoppage 4. Insure all order materials are received, inspected, and storedin time and properly 5. Keep leadman updated on job progress 6. Be familiar with all items on the job shelves 7. Enforce standards for fabrication to ensure quality work frompersonnel 8. Pull, terminate, and phase wire 9. Install electrical fittings 10. Drilling ( hand held) holes/set up 11. Verify conformance of received material 12. Knowledge and ability to comply with company¿s safetystandards, OSHA standards, and EPA standards 13.Perform material handling and housekeeping functions 14.Retrieve and deliver supplies and equipment 15.Participate in group discussions such as job briefings

Job Qualifications :

The following skills and abilities areessential for performing job functions in a safe and effectivemanner. 1. Must be able to read and understand posted bulletins,regulations, rule books, manufacturer manuals, and workinstructions in English 2. Must be able to provide advisory/alert information, coordinatework, and describe nature of technical defects to coworkers. 3. Must be able to accurately transcribe numbers, letters, or wordsonto forms 4. Must be able to work in a team environment which requirescooperating with others, offering help when needed, and maintainingpositive work relationships 5. Must be able to exert physical strength sufficient to lift/carryand push/pull objects weighing up to 50lbs.; perform work whilebending and stooping; perform overhead work or sitting for morethan one-half hour of every day 6. Some assignments may be performed out of doors 7. Must be willing to work shift assignments which may includevariable shifts with overtime or weekends

Safety Responsibilities :

1. Gloves will be used at all times 2. Safety glasses are required on the shop floor 3. Steel toe shoes are required on the shop floor 4. PPE being worn and in serviceable condition 5. Area picked up / no trip hazards 6. Fire extinguishers and fire exits not blocked 7. Ladders serviceable 8. Face shields available and serviceable 9. Inspect all equipment and tools prior to use and report anydiscrepancies to your supervisor 3 DAYS
