Machine Shop Assistant Warren Engines, Inc. 908 Southeast Boulevard, Clinton, NC 28328 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our shop, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a hands-on environment and have a keen interest in learning about shop operations and equipment. Responsibilities Assist with the organization and maintenance of the shop area to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Support the team in various tasks, including inventory management, restocking supplies, and preparing materials for projects. Operate basic tools and equipment, including the use of an Ohmmeter for testing electrical components. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure workspace. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Familiarity with basic tools and equipment, especially an Ohmmeter, is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods as required by the job. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
