What You’ll Be Doing:
Analyze bid specifications, drawings, and project details to develop accurate cost estimates.
Analyze and interpret architectural and engineering plans to determine the scope of work
Perform material take-offs and identify cost factors, including labor and materials.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to refine estimates and ensure project success.
Utilize construction management and estimating software to produce detailed proposals.
Work with vendors and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and secure competitive bids.
Attend client meetings to present estimates and discuss project details. What You’ll Need to be
Considered:
Experience estimating commercial construction projects over $5M.
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting commercial blueprints and plans.
Ability to engage with clients and ensure their needs are met with intentional and detailed estimates.
Knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff and other estimating software.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
