Pre-Construction Leader Holland+Seals Birmingham, AL 35223 Pre-Construction Leader Holland+Seals is a growing company and has an exciting opportunity for an Pre-Construction Leader to join our team at the Birmingham, AL office. The ideal candidate would be a recent construction related graduate or have at least 2 years of construction background with prior project management, estimating, and scheduling experience. Candidate must be hardworking, have the ability to lead, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties that will be performed include, but not limited to: Perform cost estimates from conceptual plans through final plans by closely analyzing every detail. Assist building project schedules from previously developed templates and modify them according to the unique aspects of each project. Maintain and continue to acquire historical data from past/present projects to be used in future schedules and estimates. Collaborate with Project Leaders during Pre-Construction. Assist with project buyout by creating purchase orders and releasing them to trade partners during the pre-construction stage. Clearly communicate scope of work and pricing requirements with trade partners. Trade Partner Recruiting, Assigning and Developing. Help manage & continue to develop our Trade Partner Depth Chart in multiple locations. Mentor and lead other less experienced team members as the role progresses. Attend weekly 1:1 meeting with Direct Report. Attend mandatory process briefings and quarterly All-Staff events. Work longer hours as needed to make sure given responsibilities and tasks have been completed.

Daily Reporting Location:

This is an office position at the Birmingham location with limited amount of site visits. The following Experience

Related construction experience. Ability to read a set of construction plans. Proficiently utilize project management software, Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and estimating tools: PlanSwift, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Buildertrend, Procore, etc. Ability to adapt quickly and change with innovative technology.
