Full-Time Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator & Project Manager to join our team in Mobile, Alabama. This position will be based out of our office at 2051 Leroy Stevens Rd., with occasional travel required to project sites out of town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial renovation and restoration estimating, with an emphasis on commercial roofing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate, detailed estimates for commercial renovation and restoration projects. Specialize in estimating commercial roofing systems, including

TPO, EPDM, PVC

metal, coatings, and flat roof systems. Attend site visits locally and occasionally out of town to gather data and evaluate project scope. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are scoped, priced, and managed effectively. Manage awarded projects from start to finish, including subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and budget oversight. Review architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and other relevant documents. Track change orders, RFIs, and maintain detailed project documentation. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating and project management. Strong expertise in commercial roofing is required. Proficient in estimating software such as PlanSwift, Xactimate, Bluebeam, or similar. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and construction documents. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Must be able to work in-office at our Mobile location, with occasional travel to job sites as needed. •

Preferred:

Certified by roofing manufactures for installation of roofing systems such as GAF, Mulehide, Versico, etc. Experience estimating plumbing trade specific scope a plus Experience in government contract bidding and award procedures
