list, and numerous industry accolades. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to lead the estimating and bidding responsibilities of our pre-construction process. This is an opportunity for a meticulous, results-driven professional to deliver accurate estimates that secure profitable projects while building strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Key Responsibilities Track the bid market and maintain the bid calendar for the Construction Group Lead lump sum bids, including setting up bid folders, organizing projects on Building Connected, and issuing Invitations to Bid Perform comprehensive scope/specification take-offs and create methodical, well-organized estimates Communicate with design professionals and/or owners to clarify ambiguities in bid documents Maintain frequent communication with subcontractors/vendors to ensure competitive pricing Perform quantity take-offs for various scopes of work to provide accurate and competitive estimates Collaborate with Project Management and Field Operations to develop General Conditions approaches Procure and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing, documenting all qualifications and clarifications Prepare bid bonds, forms, and proposals for timely submission Develop a database of cost data, unit prices, and historical costs for future conceptual estimates Create clear scope documents for Design/Build projects and review all construction documents Collaborate with project teams during the “hand-off” process to ensure successful project initiation Oversee value engineering during pre-construction and manage pre-construction team members Develop and enhance subcontractor and vendor relationships Assist senior management with improving processes and procedures Ideal Candidate Profile At least two years of experience as an Estimator, with background in project management or field supervision Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Construction/Science, or similar field (preferred) Excellent communication skills with a focus on honesty and integrity Comprehensive knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices Ability to work with minimal information and quickly understand owner/architect requirements Innovative and succinct approach to projects with strong analytical capabilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with construction project management software Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in teams Thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates problem-solving ability Someone who embodies our Core Values and sets the standard for excellence What We Offer Opportunity to play a crucial role in the company’s growth and success Collaborative environment with industry-leading professionals A culture that values character, purpose, and innovation Competitive compensation and benefits package Professional development and advancement opportunities A place on a team that’s shaping the future of construction Our Core Values We show GRIT in our unwavering determination to get the job done with
