Senior Construction Estimator – Multi-Sector Experience Position Available In Montgomery, Alabama

The Senior Estimator will be a key member of the preconstructionteam, responsible for overseeing the estimating process fromconcept through final bid. This role requires deep knowledge acrossall construction trades, strong relationships with subcontractors,and the ability to lead and mentor a team. As wecontinue to grow our footprint in the region, we are seeking aSenior Construction Estimator who brings leadership, experience,and a winning mindset to help drive our success in competitive andnegotiated bids. Description Lead the full estimating process formultiple concurrent bids, from early budgets to hard bids and GMPs.

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates across allCSI divisions. Analyze drawings, specifications, and addenda todevelop thorough scope coverage and risk assessments. Lead andmentor a team of junior estimators and coordinate efforts withproject managers and executives. Oversee subcontractorsolicitation, bid leveling, and scope review processes. Identifyvalue engineering options and provide strategic input to enhancecompetitiveness and project feasibility. Collaborate with businessdevelopment and leadership teams on proposal strategies andpresentations. Maintain and improve historical cost databases,subcontractor databases, and estimating tools. Profile Bachelor’sdegree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or arelated field (required) . 7 years of estimating experience in ageneral contracting or CM environment.

Diverse experience acrossmultiple project types:

commercial, multifamily, life sciences,institutional, interiors, and ground-up. Demonstrated ability towin competitive bids and contribute to overall company growth.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop ahigh-performing preconstruction team. Proficient with estimatingsoftware (e.g., ProEst, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, Sage).Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
