Our team has successfully designed and installed advanced audiovisual systems in various settings, including college football stadiums, hotels, resorts, and Houses of Worship. Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Low Voltage Estimator to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements and preparing accurate, competitive bids for a wide range of integrated systems, including professional audiovisual, networking, surveillance, access control, security, and theatrical lighting. Your work will be the foundation of our projects, directly impacting the company’s success and profitability. You will collaborate closely with our sales team, system designers, and project managers to ensure our proposals meet both client needs and company standards. Key Responsibilities Thoroughly review and interpret project bid documents, including blueprints, schematics, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Perform detailed material take-offs and calculate labor requirements to determine the total project cost. Source pricing and obtain quotes from vendors and distributors for equipment and materials. Prepare comprehensive and professional bid proposals, scopes of work (SOW), and other required documentation for submission to clients. Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to develop system designs that align with client budgets and technical requirements. Maintain detailed records of all bids, revisions, and project correspondence. Participate in project turnover meetings to effectively communicate the project scope and budget to the operations team once a bid is won. Qualifications and Skills Experience as an Estimator in the low voltage, security, or audiovisual industry. Strong technical understanding of low voltage systems, including structured cabling, access control, surveillance, and professional A/V. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, riser diagrams, and technical specifications. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong computer skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for preparing proposals and interacting with team members. Ability to work independently, manage multiple bids simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines. Preferred but

Not Required:

Experience with audiovisual estimation. Industry certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or similar. Prior hands-on experience as a low voltage technician or installer.
