Job Details Key Responsibilities:
Review drawings and 3D models to create detailed cost estimates forparts and assemblies. Work with internal teams to gather data onmaterials, labor, and equipment needed for production. Build costmodels and proposals using standard tools and templates. Helpidentify the most efficient manufacturing processes and recommendequipment when needed. Assist with early-stage project planning andpresent technical solutions to customers. Use CAD software (such asSolidWorks) for design reviews and manufacturing analysis (DFM).Support new project handoffs to make sure estimates match finalplans. Look for ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency indesign and manufacturing. Stay current on manufacturing methods,technologies, and tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree inMechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or relatedfield). 5 years of experience in cost estimating or technicalproject planning within a manufacturing environment. Hands-onunderstanding of manufacturing processes like molding, machining,or assembly. Skilled at reviewing technical drawings and using CADtools (SolidWorks preferred). Strong attention to detail,problem-solving, and communication skills. Able to manage multipletasks, work independently, and collaborate across teams.
