We are seeking a person who works well with others and can multitask. This role requires a strong understanding of structural steel fabrication processes, blueprint reading, and cost analysis. Responsibilities Assist with Inside/phone Sales Material Ordering & tracking job material Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other contract documents to determine scope of work and material requirements. Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural steel fabrication, erection, and related services. Develop detailed quantity take-offs for steel members, connections, and other materials. Obtain vendor quotations for various project components (e.g., detailing & galvanizing). Maintain organized and detailed records of all estimate documentation, including drawings, specifications, and pricing. Collaborate effectively with project managers, detailers to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions. Requirements Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in construction and or structural steel estimating. Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection processes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural and architectural blueprints and specifications. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. Familiarity with estimating software (Microsoft Excel & Word, Outlook), ProCore, Blue Beam, Plan Swift helpful. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. [

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Engineering, Construction Management, or Drafting.]
