Job Description
Aerospace Cost Estimator HYRD Barkhamsted, CT 06063 Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimating, preferably within the aerospace industry. Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to engage directly with customers during cost negotiations and Design for Manufacture (DFM) discussions. Solid understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles and modern production techniques to develop cost estimates that offer a competitive edge. Familiarity with current tooling practices used in both manufacturing and inspection, supporting the development of Non-Recurring Cost (NRC) / Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) proposals.
