We are a family-owned business with over 30 years of experience in exterior concrete restoration and coatings. As specialists in commercial building facades, we provide top-notch services, from waterproof floor coatings to joint sealants and window installations. With locations in Ocean City, Maryland, and Miami, Florida, we are rapidly expanding and are looking for passionate individuals to join our growing team. Duties Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimating processes. Utilize Buildertrend and other estimating software to create detailed cost breakdowns, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses. Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for accurate estimating. Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and implement cost control measures as needed. Prepare and present estimates to clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding pricing and scope of work. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms that align with project budgets. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction management principles. Familiarity with cost control techniques and the ability to analyze financial data effectively. Proficient in using Buildertrend or similar software for construction estimating tasks. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols is preferred. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
