Custom Cabinetry Design Estimator C&E Builders, LLC 2137 J And C Boulevard, Naples, FL 34109 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Drafter/Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, with proficiency in various software tools, as well as extensive experience in estimating. This role involves creating detailed drawings and schematics for projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications, as well as creating project budgets based on material, labor and overhead costs. The Drafter/Estimator will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to bring concepts to life. Duties Develop detailed drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, or other cabinet drafting software. Collaborate with design teams to create accurate representations of architectural and cabinet designs. Utilize cabinet software for 3D modeling and visualization of projects. Review project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards. Project estimating, creating budgets for each project by calculating costs, including material, labor, and overhead. Participate in design and budget reviews and provide input on design and cost improvements. Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions and project budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Proficiency in AutoCAD, or similar software is required; experience with a cabinet software is preferred. Familiarity with interior design principles is advantageous. Experience in custom cabinet design drafting is preferred. Knowledge of Grasshopper for parametric design is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
