Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator with experience in ground-up federal government projects . This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing plans and specifications, and coordinating with project teams to ensure competitive and accurate bids. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of federal contracting requirements, including FAR regulations, and experience with various delivery methods such as design-build and hard bid.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare comprehensive estimates for ground-up federal construction projects Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes Ensure estimates meet federal compliance and submission requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of estimating experience on federal construction projects Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement processes Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., RSMeans, Sage, or similar) Strong analytical and communication skills
