Low Voltage and Electrical Estimating Coordinator Job Summary:
The Electrical and Low Voltage Estimating Coordinator will assist estimators in preparing bids, organizing project documents, managing bid schedules, and communicating with vendors and subcontractors. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate proposals for electrical and low voltage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate bid timelines, track opportunities, and manage project documentation Support estimators with quantity take-offs, RFI tracking, and data entry Organize and maintain estimate files, drawings, and specifications Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details Review bid invitations and specifications to determine scope of work Ensure all documentation is accurate and delivered by submission deadlines Assist in compiling and formatting final proposals and bid packages Maintain and update vendor/subcontractor databases
Qualifications:
Previous experience in estimating, construction coordination, or a related administrative role preferred Familiarity with electrical and/or low voltage systems is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with estimating or construction management software is a plus (e.g., Bluebeam, Accubid, Procore) Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills
