As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for Heavy / Highway bridge projects. Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)

• Estimate heavy / highway projects ranging from 1 million – 75 million dollars with FDOT, County, and local municipalities
• Strong technical knowledge of bridge construction methods and materials
• Identify and analyze costs for labor, material, equipment and time requirements
• Prepare final bid packages and submissions
• Identify constructability issues / risks and produce accurate estimates
• Strong knowledge of plans and specifications
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, contractors, partners, and co-workers Skills/Attributes

• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook, Adobe / Bluebeam Revu

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Construction Management/Civil Engineering/Business Administration preferred) or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in the Construction Industry (bid experience on DOT or heavy highway projects preferred)
