CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATORS
to join our Vertical Construction (slab thru tie beam & Tilt-Up) team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction management and estimating, with the ability to analyze project specifications and prepare accurate cost estimates. These roles are crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best prices and terms. Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, providing updates and adjustments as necessary. Prepare comprehensive reports detailing estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for management review. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the estimating process.
Requirements:
Vertical Estimating:
Minimum 3-5 years employment history as an estimator focused on vertical construction or a related field, with strong understanding of construction management principles. Understanding of common construction vernacular and Florida Building Codes. Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bid 2 Win, and/or Procore is highly desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software required. Candidates local to Southwest Florida are desired. Relocation package is not available.
