CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATORS

to join our Vertical Construction (slab thru tie beam & Tilt-Up) & Civil Site ( earth work, wet utilities, concrete and asphalt paving) team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction management and estimating, with the ability to analyze project specifications and prepare accurate cost estimates. These roles are crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best prices and terms. Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, providing updates and adjustments as necessary. Prepare comprehensive reports detailing estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for management review. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the estimating process. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction management principles. Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bid 2 Win, Agtek, and/or Procore is highly desirable. Applicable to the Civil Estimator position: Ability to review and understand Florida DOT/municipal civil plans and be able to perform a detailed take-off. Applicable to the Vertical Estimator position: Understanding of common construction vernacular and Florida Building Codes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all estimates and reports. Candidates local to Southwest Florida are desired. Relocation package is not available.
