Paving Estimator Mor-Sports Group, Inc. 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle, Estero, FL 33928 Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Paving Estimator to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a Paving Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for paving projects. You’ll work closely with clients, project managers, and field crews to ensure that our bids are thorough and competitive, and that each job begins with a solid plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to prepare cost estimates Perform site visits when necessary to assess project conditions Determine labor, material, and equipment costs Develop accurate pricing for land clearing, grading, paving Prepare and submit accurate proposals in a timely manner Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors Track and analyze job costs and profitability Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and local pricing
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in paving or civil construction estimating Strong understanding of paving processes and materials Proficiency in estimating software Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication Ability to read blueprints, specs, and technical documents Valid driver’s license (for site visits)
