Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost control. The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications and preparing accurate cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed construction estimates
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall cost of a project
• Collaborate with the construction management team to develop accurate estimates
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
• Conduct on-site visits to construction sites for assessment and evaluation
• Manage cost control throughout the project lifecycle
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms

Skills:

• Proficiency in HeavyBid and Bluebeam software for estimating purposes
• Strong understanding of construction management principles
• Ability to interpret contracts and project documents
• Experience in construction estimating and project management
• Knowledge of cost control techniques in the construction industry
• Familiarity with construction sites and project logistics
