We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for environmental remediation construction projects to include: levees, wetlands, landfills, coal/ash, etc. This role involves analyzing project specifications, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring accurate pricing to support project bidding and execution. lindsay.larson@cybercoders.com Key Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive estimates for construction projects related to environmental remediation.
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine scope and costs.
Estimate cost of materials and labor hours needed to complete projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary project information.
Utilize HCSS software for estimating and project management processes.
Review and incorporate subcontractor bids and material costs into estimates.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project conditions and requirements.
Review progress on active projects and adjust schedules as needed.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and team members.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to environmental remediation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on environmental remediation.
Prior experience bidding for private and public sector projects. Strong proficiency in HCSS estimating software.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes and pricing strategies.
Knowledge of value engineering principles. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Prior experience with USACE levee and/or habitat restoration projects is a PLUS. Benefits $150,000-200,000 base salary (based on experience)
