Miami, FL Job Details:
– We are seeking an experienced HVAC/Sheet Metal/MEP Take-Off Estimator to join our team at our office in the Doral area of Miami. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial HVAC projects, with expertise in estimating ductwork.
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate take-offs for HVAC/ sheet metal systems from construction plans and specifications. Analyze project documents, including blueprints, drawings, and specifications, to determine scope and requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop competitive and detailed estimates. Review and adjust estimates based on scope changes, materials, and labor fluctuations. Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HVAC/sheet metal estimating. Strong understanding of ductwork fabrication and installation. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Experience with take-off software Trimble Ability to work in-office full-time in the Doral area.
