As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in winning and delivering major infrastructure projects. Your expertise in cost estimation and bid preparation will help drive our success.
Responsibilities
Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets based on project specs, scope, and drawings.
Conduct field visits to assess project conditions, verify production rates, and refine bidding strategies.
Collaborate with teams to develop pricing strategies and secure the best deals with subcontractors and vendors.
Identify project risks and recommend solutions to mitigate costs and delays.
Utilize leading software tools like Primavera, HCSS, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), and AGTEK for efficiency.
Work closely with Business Development, Engineering, and Operations teams to submit winning bids.
Qualifications
8+ years in structures fieldwork on large-scale transportation projects ($50M+) and 5+ years in estimating projects over $50M.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite; experience with Primavera, HCSS, OST, and AGTEK is a plus.
Strong grasp of estimating, engineering, cost tracking, and site surveying.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines with precision.
Comfortable engaging with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Previous experience bidding on FDOT projects is strongly preferred.
