We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to join ourteam in the luxury Commercial and Luxury Single Family HomeProjects in Miami. As a Lead Estimator, you will be responsible foraccurately estimating project costs, analyzing bids, and providingcomprehensive cost assessments for construction and renovationprojects. Client Details General Contracting firm that is anindustry leader in Luxury Commercial projects and as well as LuxuryResidential projects. Proven track record of deliveringhigh-quality projects in South Florida.

Description CostEstimation:

Utilize your expertise to accurately estimate projectcosts by reviewing project plans, specifications, and relevantdocuments, including architectural and engineering drawings.

BidAnalysis:

Evaluate bids from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendorsto determine the most competitive and suitable options for theproject. Analyze and compare the costs, materials, and laborestimates provided by different vendors.

Cost Assessments:

Providecomprehensive cost assessments and detailed breakdowns of projectbudgets to stakeholders, including project managers, architects,and clients. Present the estimates and cost analyses in a clear andconcise manner, highlighting key cost drivers and potentialsavings.

Value Engineering:

Collaborate with the project team toidentify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategieswithout compromising quality or design integrity. Suggestalternative materials, construction methods, or suppliers tooptimize project costs.

Cost Control:

Monitor and control projectcosts throughout the life cycle of the project. Collaborate closelywith the project team to track expenses, identify cost overruns,and implement corrective measures to keep projects within budget.

Vendor Relations:

Establish and maintain strong relationships withsubcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Evaluate their performance,negotiate pricing, and ensure compliance with project requirementsand industry standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintainaccurate and up-to-date records of cost estimates, bid analyses,change orders, and project-related documentation. Generate reportsand presentations to communicate project costs and progress tostakeholders.

Industry Trends:

Stay informed about the latestindustry trends, pricing fluctuations, and market conditionsaffecting the luxury retail and high-end restaurant sectors. Applythis knowledge to enhance cost estimations and provide valuableinsights to the project team. Profile Bachelor’s degree inConstruction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or arelated field. Proven experience as an Estimator in the luxuryretail and high-end restaurant sectors, with a track record ofsuccessfully estimating and managing costs for construction andrenovation projects. Deep knowledge of construction materials,methods, and building codes relevant to luxury retail and high-endrestaurant spaces. Proficiency in cost estimation software andtools, as well as Microsoft Excel, PlanSwift, BlueBeam, On ScreenTakeoff Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keenattention to detail. Strong communication and presentation skills,with the ability to explain complex cost analysis in a clear andconcise manner. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams andeffectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiaritywith project management principles and practices is desirable.
