• As a Cost Engineer, you will drive diverseprojects and initiatives. The major objective of Cost and Value Engineering isthe generation of high customer value at competitive target costs in product,project and solution business. Generating transparency in the respective costand value drivers along the entire value chain by applying state of the artCost and Value Engineering (CVE) methodology.
• How You’ll Make an Impact
• + Drive the integration of state-of-the-art Costand Value Engineering in business processes and foster a cross-functionalmindset change towards cost and value awareness.

+ Establish transparency in cost and value ofproducts, systems, and solutions, contributing improvement proposals to supportvarious departments in achieving their goals. + Contribute to the competitiveness andprofitability of products and solutions through the application of Cost andValue Engineering levers and methods. + Support the setting of competitive andachievable targets based on customer requirements, competitors’ products, and aclear judgment of our own and suppliers’ capabilities. + Foster a CVE network and company-wideknowledge exchange, contributing expertise to the network and supportingoptimal commercial conditions through precise supplier cost information.

• What You Bring
• + Excellent communication and social skills foreffective collaboration with internal customers and suppliers, and stronganalytical skills to identify key cost drivers.

+ Significant experience in should costing toolsand methods, and optimisation of cost and value improvement opportunities. + Extensive experience in heavy industrialmanufacturing processes, with a strong preference for turbine blades and vanesmanufacturing, including investment casting, machining, and coating. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MicrosoftOffice software, with flexibility to travel to external suppliers and factorylocations. + Long standing professional experiencewithin a global company, including 5+ years in Engineering, and a Master’sdegree in Engineering. Proficient in English, with experience working withmulti-cultural professionals and teams.
