This role requires expertise in interpreting builders’ drawings and translating them into specifications for our modular aluminum frame rental system, with occasional integration of custom fabrication. The ideal candidate will excel in cost estimation, client communication, vendor coordination, and project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
Responsibilities Cost Estimation:
Analyze builders’ drawings, renderings, and specifications to create detailed and accurate cost estimates for custom fabrication, rental frames, counters, and turnkey projects.
Account Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, presenting estimates, providing project updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Vendor Coordination:
Source and manage external vendors for project components not fabricated in-house, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
Project Management:
Oversee all phases of turnkey projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and service delivery, to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
Invoicing:
Prepare and issue accurate invoices using project data, ensuring alignment with client agreements and company standards. Knowledge of QuickBooks for invoicing is a plus.
Data Management:
Utilize Excel and Google Sheets to track project costs, timelines, and resources, ensuring accurate and organized documentation.
Travel:
Occasionally travel to client meetings or project sites as needed (minimal travel required).
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal fabrication teams, builders, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality outcomes. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in project management and estimation, ideally in trade show, convention, events, exhibitions, or construction-related fields. Proven ability to interpret builders’ drawings and translate them into modular rental system components, particularly aluminum frame systems. Strong understanding of rental-based project workflows, with experience in custom fabrication a plus. Proactive, client-focused, and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets or similar. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Willingness to travel minimally.
