We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Alarm Estimator to join our dynamic team in Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside County. As a leading provider of fire protection services, we are committed to delivering top-notch solutions to our clients. The Fire Alarm Estimator will play a crucial role in assessing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

Estimation:

Analyze project specifications and requirements to prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for fire alarm systems. 2.

Bid Preparation:

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop competitive and compliant bid proposals. 3.

Material and Labor Assessment:

Evaluate material and labor costs, considering factors such as project scope, specifications, and industry standards. 4.

Site Visits:

Conduct on-site visits to assess project conditions and gather essential information for accurate estimations. 5.

Documentation:

Prepare detailed documentation, including quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns, and any other relevant information needed for the estimation process. 6.

Vendor and Subcontractor Communication:

Interface with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate favorable terms to enhance cost competitiveness. 7.

Bid Submissions:

Ensure timely and accurate submission of bid proposals, adhering to project deadlines and requirements. 8.

Cost Tracking:

Maintain accurate records of estimated costs, actual costs, and any adjustments throughout the project lifecycle. 9.

Industry Knowledge:

Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and pricing to ensure competitive and up-to-date estimations.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Estimator in the fire protection industry. 2.

Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems, NFPA codes, CFC Codes and industry standards. 3.

Education:

Relevant degree or certification in estimating, engineering, or a related field. 4.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using estimation software and tools. 5.

Communication Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors. 6.

Analytical Abilities:

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in preparing accurate and competitive estimates. 7.
