The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase of projects, providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to analyze project specifications and drawings to develop precise estimates, ensuring profitability and competitiveness. Key Responsibilities Review project plans and specifications to develop detailed estimates and bids
Prepare complete estimates of costs for materials, labor, and equipment for construction projects
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimates
Analyze market trends and costs to ensure accurate pricing and project feasibility
Participate in bid meetings and present estimates to clients and stakeholders
Maintain an organized database of historical costs and estimates for future reference
Assist in the evaluation and selection of subcontractors and suppliers based on cost and value Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred)
5+ years GC estimating experience Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Proficiency in estimating software and tools, with experience in Excel preferred
Experience with federal & public works projects (preferred)
Experience with school projects (preferred)
Experience with ground up, TI & renovation projects
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Benefits Salary $145-160k
