Job Description
A top-ranked construction group-recognized nationally for excellence in commercial building-is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its high-performing preconstruction team. This is a strategic role with visibility across major commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full-cycle estimating process on large-scale commercial projects from conceptual budgeting through final GMP submission. Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates. Coordinate with project management, design teams, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and budget. Mentor junior estimators and contribute to process improvement across regional estimating operations. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to stay current with market pricing and trade availability.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating with a general contractor. Proven track record estimating ground-up and large-scale commercial projects. Proficient in estimating software such as Sage, OST, Bluebeam, or equivalent. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
