Takeoff estimator MJC Land Development 2056 F Road, Loxahatchee, FL 33470 MJC Land Development is actively looking for a quality Takeoff Estimator. Based in West Palm Beach, FL, MJC is a family owned and operated business that self performs a majority of sitework scopes including, but not limited to: Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Flatwork, Roadwork, & Paving. We are a rapidly growing company with a need to add quality personnel to grow along with the company. MJC offers the opportunity for professional advancement, as it is preferred to promote from within the company. In general, the Takeoff Estimator would read/interpret plans, perform takeoffs, secure pricing, takes detailed notes throughout the process, & assist other estimators. Staying organized and communicating with the team are important responsibilities of the position.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing takeoff in civil work. Ability to review and understand civil plans to be able to perform a detailed take-off within Plan swift Understanding roadwork AGTEK experience is plus Organized and good work ethic, team player, open to ideas and good communication skills.
