We’re seeking an experiencedand driven Senior Estimator to support the development of timely,accurate, and comprehensive electrical estimates for multifamilyand commercial projects. This role is instrumental in ensuringsuccessful bids and managing change order processes. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the estimating process and timelines to ensure alignmentwith project deadlines. Communicate with operations teams and clients to define and clarifyproject scope. Maintain accurate, organized records of estimates and projectchanges within the change order pipeline. Analyze and interpret construction drawings (blueprints) andspecifications. Prepare and conduct quality overlays, detailed takeoffs, andwritten estimate narratives. Allocate costs and labor accurately into project budgets. Present completed estimates and proposals to internal teams andexternal clients. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior estimatingteam members. Commit to the demands and learning opportunities of this fast-trackposition for a minimum of 16 months.
Qualifications:
5 to 10 years of relevant electrical estimating experience inmultifamily and/or commercial construction. Strong problem-solving skills with a customer service mindset. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-drivenenvironment. Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting withinternal stakeholders and executive leadership. High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimatingsoftware (Accubid preferred).
