An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Electrical Estimator in Clearwater, FL with a financially strong, family-run electrical contractor known for tackling intricate industrial and heavy commercial projects. With over three decades of success and a reputation for thought-provoking, complex work in chemical plants and other large-scale environments, this company offers the chance to work directly with leadership in a collaborative environment that values independence, ownership, and long-term growth. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Estimator position include: Minimum 5 years of experience estimating industrial and heavy commercial projects. Strong proficiency in Accubid software is required (Excel users are not a fit). Ability to estimate projects ranging from $1 million to $30 million; overall project scope spans $100K to $100 million. Willingness to work out of the NY office for a couple of months for onboarding and training. Collaborate directly with the Chief Estimator and owner on project planning and takeoffs. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM. 50/50 split between office and site presence.
Salary:
$65,000 – $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
