Job Description
Manufacturing Estimator Confidential Oviedo, FL 32765 We are a family owned and operated manufacturer of stainless steel commercial kitchen equipment manufacturing out of a 204,000 square foot facility with over 200 employees. We are a drug free workplace. We are looking for a manufacturing estimator that will be responsible for producing quotes for custom food service equipment using design and specifications provided by food service consultants.
Duties include:
Calculate quotes of material and equipment using designs and specifications provided by food service consultants. Prepare estimate prices on change orders for ongoing projects. Prepare required bid forms and documents. Complete work in a timely manner to meet bid schedules. Respond to clients in a timely manner. Communicate customer needs with detailing and fabrication departments
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience estimating projects. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols and construction plans. Comprehensive understanding of fabrication means and methods. Previous experience using design/detailing software is preferred. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time efficiently. Hours of operation : Monday – Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.
