Department Director SUMMARY:

Duties and responsibilities will be, preparing accurate and profitable job estimates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create project estimates and bid documents.

Including but not limited to:

• Accurately entering customer information and other data into customer database
• Identifying and requesting additional information from customer via email of phone, if necessary
• Performing material take-offs from customer specifications and drawings
• Retrieving vendor pricing and costs
• Identifying and estimating labor requirement
• Developing project bill of materials
• Creating or fill-in bid documents
• Saving all files and documentation in an organized manner
• Assisting with creating and managing of resultant purchase orders
• Preparing quote for project manager take-over
• Attending kick-off meetings and/or assist project managers in understanding scope

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Preference given to a candidate with experience with in project management or inventory software Acute attention to detail Strong organizational skills Commitment to excellence and high standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

$17.00 – $18.00 per hour
