The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing construction projects and providing accurate cost estimates to support project planning and execution. Duties Utilize construction estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to prepare detailed cost estimates Visit construction sites to gather information for accurate assessments Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure competitive pricing Collaborate with project management teams to develop comprehensive project proposals Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements Review and interpret contracts to ensure compliance with project scope and budget Maintain updated knowledge of construction industry trends and pricing Requirements Proficiency in construction estimating techniques and software tools Strong understanding of construction management principles Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent negotiation skills for contract agreements Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data accurately Prior experience in building cost estimates for construction projects
