Responsibilities:

Analyze construction drawings and specifications to accurately estimate costs Review project plans and proposals to ensure accuracy and completeness Identify potential project risks and provide recommendations for mitigation Develop detailed project budgets and cost estimates Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project success Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms Prepare accurate and timely bid proposals for clients Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and accurately estimate costs Maintain project cost data and continuously update estimates throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

3-5 years of commercial construction estimating experience Proficiency in construction cost estimating and project management software Bid projects and take them to the contract award phase Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures Proficiency with Excel Knowledge of general construction Experience with siding, stucco & exterior cladding preferred Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms Attention to detail and accuracy Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
