Electrical Estimator Reports to: Estimating Manager/Director of Project Management About Us Reinicke Athens Inc. We specialize in fast-track installations, plant shutdowns, relocation of industrial manufacturing equipment, and full-service turnkey construction. Position Summary RAI is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to bid projects ranging from $200,000 to $15,000,000 and perform project management duties as needed. Duties and Responsibilities Manage projects as needed on estimates won Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate Attend pre-bid meetings and/or tour job sites to confirm requisite take-offs Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including information on pricing from suppliers obtained through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, software uploads, etc. Support other department personnel as required, which may include assisting with estimates in other disciplines Review design options and recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, and/or availability of materials Interface with clients on bid-walks Provide support to field operations regarding electrical estimates Frequent day travel throughout the Southeast (overnight stays are rare if local to the Athens, GA area) Qualifications At least 3 years of experience as an estimator in the electrical construction industry for heavy commercial or industrial projects Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the electrical industry Working knowledge of electrical installation, estimating techniques, and cost control Ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems Ability to perform detailed work and successfully meet deadlines Proficient with Microsoft Office Electrical field experience preferred Estimating software experience; Accubid experience preferred Why RAI?
