JOB DESCRIPTION
A Distribution Field Estimator is a critical role in the energy and utility industry responsible for assessing field conditions and gathering data to estimate the cost and feasibility of projects related to electrical power distribution systems.
This position involves conducting on-site inspections, collaborating with engineering teams, and providing accurate estimates for distribution projects.

Field Inspections:
Conduct site visits to assess the current conditions of electrical distribution systems, including poles, wires, transformers, and related equipment.
Data Collection:
Gather detailed information and measurements about the existing infrastructure, such as equipment specifications, materials, and dimensions.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of field observations and measurements. Create detailed reports and sketches of distribution system components.
Cost Estimation:
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to estimate the cost of repair, maintenance, upgrades, or new installations based on field data and project requirements.
Material and Labor Assessment:
Determine the quantities of materials and labor hours required for distribution projects. Obtain pricing information for materials from suppliers.
Budget Development:

Vendor Coordination:

Qualifications
