Estimator 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Mableton, GA 30126 Estimator Senior Electrical Estimator- Mission Critical Position Overview The Senior Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for electrical projects, focusing on commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors, including data centers. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems and the ability to analyze project requirements to deliver accurate and competitive bids. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects in commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project information and clarify specifications. Review and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure competitive pricing. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate project success. Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and any necessary adjustments to estimates. Monitor project performance and update estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical estimator in commercial and industrial projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components relevant to mission-critical environments. Experience with estimating software and tools. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
