Role:

GA Fire Proofing is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Estimator to join our growing team. In this in-office position, you’ll play a vital role in the bidding process for fireproofing construction projects. Your work will directly impact our ability to win contracts and complete projects profitably. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to learn, collaborate, and grow with a company that values doing things differently. Qualifications:

We’re looking for candidates who bring a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset. While prior estimating experience is a plus, we are open to training the right candidate—even if you don’t have estimating experience.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Active Notary Public commission (preferred, but not required)
• we will sponsor qualified candidates
• 3+ years of experience in fireproofing construction or a related construction field
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Willingness to contribute to a collaborative, team-focused environment ________________________________________

What You’ll Do:

• Review construction plans and specifications
• Perform accurate takeoffs using estimating software
• Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and proposals
• Communicate with general contractors and internal teams
• Maintain organized records and assist with project tracking
• Grow into a role with full independence in estimating tasks ________________________________________
