About This Role Automated Logic, a Carrier corporation, is looking for anestablished inside sales professional. As a Senior Inside SalesEstimator , you will be crucial to the business by aiding in thepricing of services to offer customers the best solution. We arelooking for a team member who is a self-starter who thrives in afast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, andenjoys quantitative problem-solving. You will be able to advanceyour skills to prepare yourself for future endeavors. Key Responsibilities Review specification and control schematics. Solicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers andfollow up to obtain written quotes. Create detailed scope letters and proposals. Provide clear documentation on estimates andproposals. Provide accurate estimates and proposals; help to ensure teammembers do the same. Partner closely with our operations and engineering teams toprovide the best solutions and pricing. Play a key role in the selection of contractors. Qualify opportunities and develop bid strategies. Train, assist and mentor less experienced Estimators on theteam. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma with 7+ years of experience with Sales,Building Automation, HVAC, and/or Controls or Bachelor’s degreewith 5+ Years of experience with Sales, Building Automation, HVAC,and/or Controls. Valid Driver’s License Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electricalengineering. Experience with sales tools and software, such as a CustomerRelationship Management (CRM) and estimating software, BidTracer. Ability to value engineer control designs with alternativesolutions. Ability to solve challenging financial and accounting-relatedissues. Strong skills in written and oral communication, analysis,organization, and time management. Demonstrated experience building strong relationships withcustomers and coworkers. Self-motivated and a passion for continuousimprovement. Ability to perform in a fast-paced and changingenvironment.
