Develop and prepare conceptual estimates withminimal subcontractor assistance using limited preliminary designdocuments/information. Develop subcontract interest in projects andmanage the subcontractor RFP process. Qualify and levelsubcontractors’ proposals according to project specifics. Itemizetrade specific scopes and prepare bid packages. Prepare detailedcritical path job schedules. Continually Marketing the company andlooking for future opportunities to grow the business. Maintaindiscretion and confidentiality at all times. Interact with clients,architects, engineers, and Local Jurisdictions to understand andincorporate project objectives, schedules, permits, costs, etc.

Desired Skills and Experience Relevant to Commercial ConstructionEstimating experience including conceptual budgeting.

JobRequirements:

A leader that assumes total responsibility for theirwork. 4 Year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering,Architecture or 5 years of construction estimating experience.

Experience estimating and/or working on Federal Government projectsis a plus Extensive knowledge of industry practices, procedures,and market trends. Dedicated, well organized, able to plan,prioritize, and manage multiple tasks. Detailed oriented with theability to focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Proficient with commercial estimating software. Maintainprofessionalism when faced with aggressive deadlines. Excellentleadership, personal, communication, and written skills. Ability tointeract, develop, and maintain a positive professionalrelationship with all levels of personnel. Meet deadlines withminimal supervision. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
