Job Description
Lead Estimator (Commercial Glass & Glazing) LaborWorx Industrial Staffing Atlanta, GA 30332
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial glass and glazing projects
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and contractors to gather accurate pricing and scope details
- Develop bid strategies and ensure competitive pricing
- Track and analyze bid performance, win ratios, and market trends
- Lead and mentor junior estimators as the team grows
- Play an active role in business development and pre-construction planning
- Support leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and growth planning
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction, preferably in glass and glazing
- Proficiency in at least one common estimating software platform such as Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or Stack
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a preferred platform and be able to quickly integrate into our estimating processes and drive implementation of their software of choice
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
