Deep Commitment to Equity, Inclusion, and Talent Development. Position Summary Our Client is currently seeking a Senior Estimator Electrical/ Mechanical to lead activities for Tier
III & IV
Data Center projects in the Atlanta region. This role is responsible for negotiated bids, budgets, general conditions, systems studies and comparisons, value engineering, subcontractor relations and staying abreast of industry developments applicable to estimating. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in large-scale mission-critical construction, possesses in-depth knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical systems, and demonstrates strong leadership and client engagement skills. This is a key position that plays a vital role in shaping project success before construction begins. Key Responsibilities Ensure that the estimating process runs smoothly and efficiently and client expectations are exceeded throughout the duration of the projects. Guide and mentor Junior Estimators and support their professional development. Lead and oversee budgeting, estimating, value engineering, scope definition, trade coordination, and procurement strategy. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations. Establish accurate and detailed budgets during conceptual, schematic, and design development phases. Oversee all take-off activities, cost tracking systems, and risk assessments Create, update, and manage detailed bid schedules, timelines, and procurement deliverables. Lead subcontractor qualification and selection processes; build a reliable, competitive subcontractor base. Provide technical and strategic oversight on mechanical and electrical system estimating and design integration Collaborate with operations teams to ensure constructability reviews and hand-offs are seamless and effective Present project estimates and planning recommendations to internal executive teams and client leadership with confidence and clarity Reconcile and align estimates with design team inputs and client targets Consistently deliver high-quality customer service and contribute to long-term client partnerships. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline required (proffered). Minimum of 5 years of Estimating mission-critical construction.
Strongly preferred:
Experience in Data Center construction and MEP-intensive projects. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project); experience with Yardi, Procore, or Prolog is advantageous. Proven track record of developing and presenting conceptual and detailed estimates. Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and building external partnerships. Superior analytical, negotiation, and project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of interacting confidently mentor Junior Estimators. High attention to detail, solution-oriented mindset, and strong organizational discipline. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary with performance-based bonus eligibility. - 165
K Bonus Package:
