Sr. Commercial Roof Estimator / Project Manager Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Job Description:

Over here at GPAC we are partnered with a well-establishedCommercial Roofing company who looking for a Commercial RoofingEstimator. The projects they do now are a mix of Public and Privatebidwork. Primarily single-ply re-roof but also metals, built,up,shingles and more. This position they are open to someone who wantsto sit in the office majority the day and bang out bids or also theindividual who goes to pre-con meetings and chats it up with GCs.

The Commercial Roofing Estimator reports into the DivisionDirector. The responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

Completing pre-construction cost estimates. Preparing contractbids. Project estimates. Submittals. Cost Analysis. Pricing laborand materials. Vendor management. Change order processingQualifications Experience as an Estimator in commercial roofing.

TPO, EPDM, PVC, Metals, Shingles and more. Extensive knowledge ofcommercial roofing and maintenance practices, procedures andtechniques as well as applicable local, state and federal buildingcodes and legislation. Strong communication skills; thorough andattentive to details. Able to prioritize, multi-task, timemanagement, be proactive, and deadline/detailed oriented. Mustpossess strong negotiation skills. Ability to closely collaboratewith other project teams and stakeholders. Ability to read andinterpret documents, such as work orders, safety rules, operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability toprovide conceptual estimates from historic data. Ability to work ina team environment. Develop and maintain relationships with keyvendors and suppliers. Develop and maintain relationships withClients and follow their protocols. Work with Managers tounderstand scope of work and translate into estimating process.

Ability to solve client concerns and speak expertly on thesolution. Must be familiar with general contracting procedures.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Knowledge ofconstruction estimating and scheduling practices. Must demonstratemanagerial skills appropriate with this position. Must be PCproficient.

Software Skills:

Estimating with software’s like EDGEsoftware or similar to Bidding, Building Connected experience is aPlus Procore, PM Management experience is Required Schedule,Proficient in Microsoft Project, or other software equivalent is a

Plus Budget, Change Orders, RFI’s Microsoft Office Suite:
